Josh Wipke

HR executive. Systems thinker. 18 years building the infrastructure that lets healthcare organizations do their best work.

Josh founded Intersect HR on a straightforward premise: organizations at the 250–500 employee inflection point need executive-level HR leadership — not another generalist engagement. The gap between what needs to happen and what actually gets done is almost always a capacity and expertise problem, not a knowledge problem.

Intersect HR exists to close that gap. It is queer-owned and operated, and bilingual in English and Spanish.

Vice President, Human Resources

Leading HR strategy and operations for a contracted rehabilitation therapy organization serving 360 employees and 100+ independent contractors across multiple states. Unified previously separate HR and Talent Acquisition functions, led enterprise systems assessment across HRIS, ATS, LMS, and credentialing platforms, and implemented pay transparency compliance for Illinois operations.

2025 — 2026

Arc Hospice & Palliative Care

Vice President, Systems and People

Built scalable HR infrastructure for a rapidly growing multi-state hospice and palliative care organization. Implemented Greenhouse ATS, developed multi-state employee handbook and talent programs, and began building the HR infrastructure foundation to support Pennsylvania market expansion. Partnered with executive leadership on national frameworks for HR, compliance, and operations.

Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care / AccentCare

Seasons merged with AccentCare in December 2020 and rebranded in January 2022.

An 11-year arc spanning HR leadership to executive operations and enterprise growth strategy across a nationally recognized hospice and palliative care provider. Built the first proprietary compensation structure for an enterprise-scale organization across 20+ states. Reduced annual labor costs by $10M through a proprietary staffing analysis tool. Led workforce restructuring and operational stabilization for a concurrent dual-acquisition integration involving Seasons and the Fairview Health Systems hospice operation in Minnesota — including leadership selection, billing remediation, and transition to unified administration. Increased high-value referrals 25% through integrated data strategy. Reduced early-stage sales turnover 50% through onboarding and training redesign.
